Welcome to OC’s New Executive Director

OC welcomes Felicia Sullivan as our new Executive Director. Born in New York State, Felicia moved to Massachusetts in 1995. Since then she has been engaged in the community media & technology movements as well as worked with social justice and arts organizations.

Felicia brings a long track record to Organizers' Collaborative -- serving for over 8 years as at the Lowell Telecommunications Corporation in Lowell, MA. There she directed a city-wide community technology consortium that addressed the digital divide of youth, immigrants and low-income individuals in the City of Lowell. Prior to LTC, Felicia was Education Director at the Boston Film / Video Foundation meeting the needs of independent media makers. Felicia has served on the national board of CTCNet and currently serves as a board officer at two Lowell-based organizations -- the 119 Gallery, and the One Lowell Coalition.

In addition to experience running projects and managing organizations much larger than Organizers' Collaborative; Felicia was also one of the most tech-savvy out of 25 applicants. Her skills include web 2.0, podcasting, Drupal, tech capacity building, and video production. She writes and speaks frequently on using communication, media and information technologies for community development and social change.
