Organizers' Collaborative

OC's Suren Moodliar will be joining with MoveOn's National Field Director Anna Galland at the American Friends Service Committee's New Strategies in the Time of Obama conference to offer a workshop on new online organizing tools. The conference takes place at Tufts University from Friday, 3/27 through Sunday 3/29/09.

We'll report on the lessons from the workshop in a future entry. Here's the workshop description:

In this workshop, Suren and Anna will share their own experience with new and unique tools and technologies that enable peace and justice organizing. We'll discuss the challenges and barriers that workshop participants have faced in the past, and suggest specific tech tools that might be useful in addressing those challenges. And we'll look at tech opportunities that our movement still needs to tap.
