Why Support the Organizers' Collaborative?

Organizers' Collaborative (OC) recognizes that real change can occur only through a vibrant movement that includes tens of thousands of small organizations. Thus our technology assistance and training programs are uniquely focused on replicable solutions that lower the barriers to access.

OC's projects (like the Boston Organizational Divide Initiative, ODB, and the Grassroots Use of Technology conference) involve and directly serve the grassroots activist community.

You can help OC by becoming a member to support our work. Simply click the button above to go to our online donation page. Your tax-deductible gift will help us create and disseminate tools and provide training that will make thousands of grassroots social change groups stronger.

OC is a 501(c)(3) organization; all donations are tax-deductible. Donors automatically become a member of OC, and receive the following benefits:

  • a 10% discount to OC events
  • voting rights for at-large board members

  • $30 - Regular
  • $50 - Supporter
  • $100 - Sponsor
  • $200 - Silver
  • $750 - Gold (adopt an intern)
  • $1,500 - Angel (adopt a nonprofit)
  • $3,000 - Movement Builder

Why Volunteer?

You don't have to be a techie to volunteer; we always need energetic people to help with:

  • Organizing events
  • Data entry, mailings, calling our members, etc.
  • Writing (for grants, our web site, the OCtech newsletter, case studies, etc.)
  • Translating our materials into Japanese
  • Designing our outreach materials

If you have programming or tech skills - great! You can get involved with:

  • Designing and teaching classes to non-technical people
  • Web design and CMS customization
  • Web application development
  • Desktop software development
  • Software testing
  • User support for software

Volunteers can come into the Boston office or work from afar.
