Simple, Cheap and Secure Credit Card options

Presenters: Dan MacNeil, Kamala Kalluri, and John Miller, Community Software Lab

Audience: People choosing (non-technical) or setting up (somewhat-techncial) a "donate now" button on their website.

Given Internet access, a web site, bank account and very basic knowledge of HTML, you can get a donate now button on your site in less than 3 hours.

The first part of this workshop will outline credit card options (including PayPal, Democracy In Action, Wainwright Bank) and list situations when you might want to follow us like a lemming.

The second part of the workshop will walk participants through the process of setting up paypal in a test environment. The ability to create and transfer basic web pages is a prerequisite for the 2nd part of the workshop.
