On Saturday, the first train leaves at 8am and will arrive at 8:43am
The best way to get to Wannalancit from the Train Station is via the LRTA buses (www.lrta.com)
You can take these buses right at the Kennedy Bus Terminal which is adjacent to the MBTA terminal. The LRTA has two lines that serve the Wannalancit area:
Route # 9 Downtown circulator which departs from Bay # B-1 and
Route # 7 Pawtucketville which departs from Bay A-1 - THIS IS YOUR BEST BET ON SATURDAY. It leaves at 8:45am and you should get off at the corner of Merrimack Street and Cabot Street. Walk to Father Morrisette Boulevard, turn right and 600 Suffolk Street (Wannalancit Mill Building) is a block away on your left.
You can find all the details in the LRTA web page. The cost for each ride is $1.
You can also take a taxi from the terminal. We recommend you call either Yellow Cab (978-454-7748) or Lowell Cab (978-446-7900). The trip would be about $5-$8 depending on the number of people riding. You should also call ahead to make sure they pick you up when the train arrives.
Also, you can always walk from the train station. It is about a mile.
To Lowell by Train
Amtrak does not go to Lowell, so you'll have to get off at Boston's South Station. From South Station, take the Red Line (INBOUND) to Downtown Crossing and then take the Orange Line to North Station. See To Lowell by Commuter Rail.
