OC Seeking Interim Executive Director
The Organizers' Collaborative (OC) is seeking an energetic person with substantial organizing and fund-raising experience. This is a hands-on position, involving program administration, fund-raising, and office management responsibilities. The organization has a strong base of volunteers, over 300 paid members, good administrative systems, an active board, and a solid track record in providing an annual nonprofit technology conference as well as free database software. New leadership is needed to help the group cement the progress and relationships it has already built and to develop a stronger financial base for its operations in the long term.

Longtime Boston Community Leader Mel King hosts post-conference dinner
On Saturday, June 17, 2006 over 200 individuals representing more than 75 community-based and nonprofit organizations throughout the Northeast came together at UMASS Boston for Organizers' Collaborative (OC) Seventh Annual Grassroots Use of Technology Conference. Co-sponsored by the CTC Vista Project at UMASS Boston, this national conference provided valuable training and information to nonprofit professionals and activists on how they could best use technology to effect social change.
