Michelle Murrain has been working with nonprofits and educational institutions on technology issues for 11 years. Michelle has been involved in developing databases, and content and applications for the web, specifically for organizational, research and educational purposes, since 1994.
Michelle's present consulting practice (http://www.metacentric.org) primarily focuses on the areas of database planning, planning the implementation of free and open source software, training, and overall strategic technology planning. She has worked with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations, mostly in human services, women's health and education. She is on the steering committee of the Non Profit Open Source Initiative (NOSI).
