The Internet has transformed how arts organizations reach the public. Promotion of events, donor management, ticketing, and new visual media offer new challenges and opportunities. Representatives of three local organizations will share some of their strategies. Geralyn Horton will discuss techniques to promote web visibility. Nikil Rajpal will present some benefits of incorporating video on a website and taking advantage of video sharing sites (like Google Video, Youtube) to get your message out. Erin Kunze will discuss the process of developing the matchbook.org artist & venue listing service. Finally, Alison Klejna from Nora Theatre will discuss issues related to integrating various systems (for selling tickets, tracking donors, etc.). Audience participants will share how their organizations deal with similar issues.
