OC Supporters' Dinner -- to Benefit the 50/50 Program

After the conference, OC is holding a dinner to launch the “50/50” program. This program, part of the Organizational Divide Initiative, will donate 50 computers to 50 local nonprofit groups in the fall of 2006. The dinner also celebrates the achievements of nonprofits that are using technology to a make a difference in the lives of those they serve!

NEW!! - At the dinner, OC will present its 1st Annual "Innovative Use of Technology Award" to the Citizen Action Team. The Dinner will be hosted by long-time Boston activist and organizer Mel King.

Date: Saturday June 17, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Location: South Kitchen & Wine Bar
77 Dorchester Street, Boston, MA 02127

Tickets to the dinner are $55 for individual attendees; if you come from the conference, transportation will be provided and you may attend at a $5 discount.

We are also seeking organizational and corporate sponsors for the dinner. Sponsors may “adopt” one or more nonprofit organizations by providing cash assistance or in-kind training assistance. “Adoptees” will receive a computer from OC in the fall of 2006 preloaded with a special “nonprofit toolbox” of low-cost and free software. In addition, the recipient groups will receive setup assistance and training.

Sponsors may also elect to support enhancements to and distribution of the nonprofit toolbox -- a project that will benefit the entire national nonprofit technology community.
